HOW TO REQUEST ACCESS

Please follow the directions below to request access to a PBS product.

 

If this is your first time requesting access to a PBS product, 
there are a few extra steps you'll need to take.

AIM

You do not need to go through PBS to gain access to AIM if your station is already set up on AIM.

FIRST TIME ACCESSING A PBS PRODUCT?

First, create a PBS account.

Next, ask your supervisor to log into their AIM console and provide your account with access.

IF YOU HAVE STATION ADMIN ACCESS ON AIM

You can provide access to any station staff for the AIM console.

Log into AIM and follow these directions to invite a new member to the console.

BENTO

You do not need to go through PBS to gain access to Bento if your station is already set up on Bento.

FIRST TIME ACCESSING A PBS PRODUCT?

First, create a PBS account.

Next, sign in at bento.pbs.org with your new account. You will reach a screen asking you to ask a Site Admin for access.

Now, ask your supervisor or a Bento Site Admin at your station to log into Bento and grant you access.

ALREADY HAVE ACCESS TO ANOTHER PBS PRODUCT?

FIRST TIME ACCESSING A PBS PRODUCT?

First, create a PBS account.

Next, ask your supervisor to submit an access request to our team at this page.  Your supervisor should enter their own email address in the "Email" field.

For security reasons, if your supervisor does not request access, your approval may be delayed.

ALREADY HAVE ACCESS TO ANOTHER PBS PRODUCT?

Your PBS account is your work email address and a personal password you've previously created.

MEDIA MANAGER

FIRST TIME ACCESSING A PBS PRODUCT?

First, create a PBS account.

Next, ask your supervisor to submit an access request to our team at this page.  Your supervisor should enter their own email address in the "Email" field.

For security reasons, if your supervisor does not request access, your approval may be delayed.

MVAULT

LOCAL LIVE STREAM

FIRST TIME ACCESSING A PBS PRODUCT?

First, create a PBS account.

Next, ask your supervisor to submit an access request to our team at this page.  Your supervisor should enter their own email address in the "Email" field.

For security reasons, if your supervisor does not request access, your approval may be delayed.

ALREADY HAVE ACCESS TO ANOTHER PBS PRODUCT?

Your PBS account is your work email address and a personal password you've previously created.

DOMO

You do not need to go through PBS to gain access to DOMO.

DOMO IS A UNIQUE CONSOLE

Each station has a single account for DOMO. This means all of the staff at your station use the same email address and password to log into DOMO.

To request access to DOMO, please contact a supervisor or colleague at your station to request the credentials for DOMO.

Once you have your station's credentials, DO NOT CHANGE THE PASSWORD FOR YOUR STATION'S ACCOUNT. This will lock all other staff at your station out of your DOMO account.

NEXTCLOUD

ALREADY HAVE ACCESS TO ANOTHER PBS PRODUCT?

MULTIPLE PRODUCTS

If your job requires you to access multiple PBS products and you already know which ones you need access to, please follow these directions.

FIRST TIME ACCESSING A PBS PRODUCT?

First, create a PBS account.

Next, ask your supervisor to submit an access request to our team. Please include all products you'll need access to in the Description field of the ticket form.

For security reasons, if your supervisor does not request access, your approval may be delayed.

PBS Digital Support will NOT provide access to general requests - for security reasons, specific products must be requested. "Add me to all products" requests will not be approved.
